Account Types
We encourage you to keep an account so we can furnish you with a copy of you annual purchases around tax time rather than handing your bookkeeper or accountant a shoebox full of an entire year of receipts. There are no minimum purchases or any other requirements for having an account--just a valid, current license through the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation.
Many prefer to keep a COD account and pay for their products at the time their purchased. Others use a 30-day account in which a statement is sent to them monthly (or their sales rep provides a copy when call on your salon.) Your purchase are due for payment in 30 days and past due at the end of the month in which they are due. (For example if you buy some product April 15, and if not paid by April 30, your account is past due and you may be assessed a $5.00 late fee at minimum.
It is worth noting at this point that State Beauty Supply must pay for its product 30 days after it is shipped from its supplier in Tulsa, OK. If not paid in full by that date they are cut off and shipped anything else until then. So it is important that our customers' accounts are kept current as well.
